I am also a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant. I am an aunt of three girls. They are the best thing that has happened to me. They are the light of my life. I was diagnosed with NMO in 2015. I began to have mobility issues and vision loss in my left eye. I ended up going blind in my left eye. I regained my vision after two years. I have partial vision loss still. I am thankful that I am able to see a little out my eye. I am so thankful.

Since my diagnosis of Neuromyelitis Optica. I have been going for monthly infusions and lots of doctors appointments which has been life changing. I have learned to appreciate life more due to this I have faced with NMO. This has been a journey countless labs, lumbar punctures, doctors appointments with many specialists, meetings a host of new people that became more like family to me. I am very grateful to become a patient health leader. With all my years being a NMO I am able to say I am determined to help other patients like myself. I have many ideas to help with the NMO community. I am also here if you need any support or assistance.
