Accommodations in the workplace

Hello,
I have had NMO for the last three years. I am a Special Education (mild/moderate) Teacher and have been teaching for 21 years. Within the last 2 years, work has become extremely demanding and emotionally exhausting. This triggers a lot of pain in my body and I am grouchy with my husband during the school year. What are some reasonable accommodations you would recommend from the ADA that I can present to my Special Education Director? I would like to see what other positions are available that are not so demanding/draining. Thank you for any insight you can provide!

  1. thank you so much for sharing with the community. I'm so sorry to hear that you've been exhausted both physically and emotionally. I have found some articles that you might find helpful!
