Hello everyone!
Are any of you receiving disability? Was it a challenge? I'm in the process now but have been denied a few times. I have a lawyer now but it's frustrating going through the process.

They rejected me and I appealed. Now they only gave me it for 12 months and said i’d be fine after that so I don’t need it.

Hello!
It took me about 3 months. I did not need a lawyer. They did send me to a special doctor of their choice which was a pain. They originally wanted me to go someone were far out. Funny part is they knew I had signed up due to my vision. But they found a better one and they were very nice and then a few weeks after that I was approved. But it isn’t always that easy. I think with how bad my eyes are, it made it pretty cut and dry. I have yet to get a request for a follow y which they aay does happen.I was fortunate to have no trouble claiming disability, I think my background as a CNS helped me when writing and articulating myself on paper.
