Neuro Optica
Been diagnosed with:
Optic Neurits, torturous version n left eye& somethings wrapped bg with your left eye.All by Optlamoligists.
Now I’ve just been told that I don’t have any of it & my symptoms are from being an old person. By a Neuro Opthlamolgist. Told my eyes are fine but the eye socket is probably the cause for f the pain(nerves). Help! I still have the pain but not terrible the way it was during Covid. He told me that it’s probably my nerves (other then the Optic nerve. I don’t want this to happen again & don’ know what to do.
Hi Susan, is it possible to arrange a complete reassessment with a neurologist. This so reminds me of the manner in which I was diagnosed. I was throughly evaluated by both a neurologist and a neuro-opthlamologist. They had very different diagnThe neurologist was correct. I went 5 months with a an incorrect diagnosis. I have permanent damage to my eye and legs. Please, Please obtain a second opinion.
I totally agree with you, it's my humblest of requests please go and have a second opinion. You never know when these things flare up like June 2021 I had the same symptoms and Nov 2021 I was paralyzed and was diagnosed with NMO. Not that I am trying to scare you but please be safe and have a second opinion.
