Pregnancy and Rituximab

I know it’s possible to be pregnant in between rituximab treatments… I did do research and also spoke with my neurologist… but I was just hoping I could hear personal experiences from any of you willing to share.

I’m very emotional today. My first infusion is in 2 days… and the heaviest thing on my mind is complications that could occur once my partner and I start trying to conceive. I just want to be able to be a mom one day to a healthy baby.

I’d really appreciate to hear anyone’s experience with pregnancy outcomes and immunotherapy.

  1. Hi Gabby how are you and how did your infusion go? I wanted to reach out to you after reading your article. I don't have personal experience as NMO happened post-pregnancy to me,
First thing first NMO must be managed for your safety, so I am providing you a link with all the information you need.

    1. My infusions went great thank you for asking! Had a tiny allergic reaction but other than that no major side effects. Thank you for sharing this link, I have alot to discuss with my Dr regarding trying to conceive. 🤍
