Self Love

It’s no secret that NMO can change how your body is. It can definitely mess with mental health.
It’s important to have self love even through living with a hateful disease.

What’s one thing you love about your self?

For me I love the empathy I possess.

  1. There is a quote by Rachel Marie Martin -" Sometimes you have to let go of the picture of what you thought life would be like and learn to find joy in the story you are actually living."
This pretty much sums ups the story of my life. I used to be perfectionist in everything from looks to littlest of thing.
Post NMOSD it took a little while but I love all the imperfection about me. Nothing matter except that I am breathing and I love it..
So its a very cruel chronic illness, but it have made me love so many small things around me, I am able to broaden my horizon and connect to so many people...

    1. you are very kind and that is true there is so much of uncertainty.. so lets just be happy, the group made me realise, we don't have control over things so let it go , let it go..omg i so love frozen

    2. So do I! 💕

  2. I love my faith. Believing in Jesus Christ gave me strength when misdiagnosed with cancer and the certainty that I could walk and use my arm and hand again after NMO. My faith helps me try to be a better person and to try my best to love others while not letting fear overwhelm me. My faith makes me smile every morning whether it's cold, hot, raining, or snowing because each day is like sunshine. My faith sustains me.

    1. Faith really changes perspective!
