I really struggle with heat intolerance. Here is what I have done so far. I hope have ideas because I hate living in a cave through the summer. I miss the outdoor activities. - I moved away from the desert. Yes, it was dry heat, but it was still insanely hot and lasted for 10 months of the year. Moving to an area with 4 equal length seasons was a help. I still have heat, but only for 3-4 months. - Next, I got accommodations at work to work remotely in the high heat days, this means that I don't have to jump in my car and wait for it to cool down. I do not leave my house in the heat during the middle of the day. All activities are handled in the mornings. - If I have to go out (doctors etc), I soak my hair and wear it in a bun which acts like a cooling system. - I am trying to save up for a cooling vest, but good lord they are pricey!
