Can Viral Exposure Trigger NMOSD?
Does anyone know whether or not stress and/or environmental exposure to pathogens has been found to play a significant role as a catalyst for developing NMOSD?
while I couldn’t find anything information stating a direct correlation, there have been studies that look into the connection. For example, this one conducted by NIH https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7196994/. Do you believe this may be what triggered your NMO? -Julie (team member)
