I Don’t Feel Validated Unless I’m Working!!
I am a nurse and a chef, but right now I don’t know what I’ll be able to do physically for the next few years.
Does anyone know of a great company to work from home for? I find that without being able to stand for long periods of time and dealing with weakness and balance issues, I need not explore my passions of taking care of others and feeding the body and soul any longer…
But the struggle for me is if I’m not working, I am not happy!!
I need to find a stable position, maybe as a customer service rep, preferably where I can use my background in either the healthcare industry or the culinary and hospitality industry… If not, it’s OK, it doesn’t have to be in those fields… I have administrative experience and general customer service experience as well…
Does anyone personally work from home and not mind sharing info about what they do and if the company they work for is a great place to work??
I can really relate to your desire to work. Being able to provide and help others is fulfilling! I don’t have any companies in mind specifically, but with your background have you looked into working as a nurse for an insurance company. I believe those positions are remote and could possibly be an option for you. I hope you’re able to find something that meets your needs. Thinking of you, Julie (team member)
